SEAL TCY
The profile TCY It is a double-lip shaft seal consisting of a single metal case with a rubber coating, a primary sealing lip with an integrated spring, and a dust lip that acts as a protective barrier against external dirt buildup. Unlike the standard design, the TCY is a special version developed according to customer specifications, tailored to meet specific application requirements—such as higher pressure resistance, superior corrosion protection, or greater capability to withstand high rotational speeds, among others.

TOLERANCE FOR THE INNER DIAMETER OF THE SEAL
When not under pressure, the inside diameter of the sealing lip is always smaller than the shaft diameter. The difference between the two dimensions is known as interference or pre-fitting. Depending on the shaft size, the sealing lip diameter is estimated to be between 0.8 mm and 3.5 mm smaller. It will depend on the setting chosen by each manufacturer.
