SEAL TM

The TM profile is a radial shaft seal designed for shaft sealing applications. It consists of a single external metal case with an internal rubber coating, a primary sealing lip with an integrated spring, and an additional contamination-exclusion lip.

CHARACTERISTICS
  • Good radial stiffness, particularly suitable for large diameters
  • Good assembly stability to prevent rebound effect
  • Sealing for low- and high-viscosity fluids
  • Modern primary sealing lip with low radial forces

See our gInstallation guide for oil seals to perform a correct installation of the seal.

TOLERANCE FOR THE INNER DIAMETER OF THE SEAL

The inner diameter of the sealing lip is always smaller than the shaft diameter. Depending on the shaft size, the sealing lip diameter is generally between 0.8 and 3.5 mm smaller than the shaft diameter.
