Description

UOP9 is an asymmetric single-acting piston seal designed for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, offering high sealing performance and easy installation.

Assembly

Install manually using tools without sharp edges, lubricate with system oil and periodically check wear, leakage and groove condition.

Materials

The UOP9 profile is manufactured in polyurethane (PU) of 90 to 95 Shore A, to be selected according to the installation requirements or the characteristics of the application.

This technical diagram defines the dimensions and geometric variables that are essential for the correct selection and installation of the UOP9 piston seal, a single-acting asymmetric profile of compact design, intended for narrow grooves and for split pistons. It shows the critical dimensions linked to the specification tables, such as the inside diameter (Ød), the outside diameter (ØD) and the width of the seal profile (b), together with the width of the housing groove (B) and the groove bottom diameter (Ød1). Complying with these dimensions ensures accurate positioning, installation without deforming the lips and optimum static and dynamic sealing performance in light and medium-duty hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, with pressures up to 16 MPa.
