Progressive cavity pump stators

Stators are one of the fundamental components of progressive cavity pumps. Working in conjunction with the rotor, they permit the continuous and uniform displacement of fluids of differing viscosity, including fluids that contain solid particles or present abrasive characteristics. Materials available

Stators can be manufactured in a wide variety of elastomers in order to ensure maximum chemical and mechanical compatibility with each application. The most common materials include NBR and HNBR for oils, greases and hydrocarbons, EPDM for chemical products and water-based fluids, NR, SBR and BR for applications demanding a high tear resistance, CSM for chemically aggressive environments and FKM for high temperatures and demanding chemical products. Versions in white or food-grade compounds are also available for the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, together with formulations developed specifically for the transfer of abrasive products, which require a high wear resistance and an extended service life.
