



OSN v-seals (also called v-rings) are available in eight different profiles designed to cover a wide variety of industrial applications. The VA and VS profiles increase their cross-section as the shaft diameter grows, while the others keep a constant section. All models operate between −40 °C and 200 °C and accept peripheral speeds below 10 m/s, for shafts from 3 to 2,000 mm.








The VR-VA profile is the standard version for large diameters and demanding service conditions, with a reinforced body. The VR-VS has a wider body that delivers greater radial force. The VR-VL is intended for installations with limited space, while the VR-VE covers large-diameter heavy-duty applications and can be supplied with an optional retaining band.
The VR-VAX is the heavy-duty solution for high-speed bearing assemblies, and the VR-VLX is its compact alternative to the VL type. The VRM and VRME profiles are intended for large diameters under severe conditions: the VRM includes a rear extension that allows it to be set against a mechanical component, while the VRME omits it for the most compact housings.
Our v-rings are manufactured in NBR, FKM, CR, HNBR and VMQ, with hardness ratings between 60 and 80 Shore. They are configured according to temperature, pressure and fluid compatibility, and perform well against dust, splashing and abrasive environments.
