O-rings: A wide range of O-rings in stock. Every material and hardness within your reach.
O-rings in every material, hardness and size. Standard and custom solutions for the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, gas and ATEX sectors. Detectable seals, FEP/PFA encapsulated O-rings, large diameters, small sizes and urgent manufacturing by vulcanised joint.
O-rings, also known as toric seals, are one of the most widely used sealing elements in industry thanks to their simplicity, reliability and versatility. Their seemingly simple design makes it possible to solve very diverse applications in hydraulic, pneumatic, food, chemical, pharmaceutical, automotive, water treatment, energy, industrial machinery and process equipment systems.
At OSN we supply standard and custom O-rings in a wide variety of materials, hardnesses, colours, sizes and certifications. We can offer everything from small-diameter seals for precision equipment to large O-rings for industrial maintenance, special manufacturing or off-catalogue applications.
Our range includes elastomer materials such as NBR, HNBR, EPDM, VMQ/silicone, FVMQ, FKM/Viton®, FFKM, CR, NR, ACM, IIR or FEPM/AFLAS®, as well as technical solutions in PTFE, UHMWPE, POM/acetal, polyurethane, PEEK, PPS and other high-performance thermoplastics. This wide range of materials makes it possible to adapt each seal to the real working conditions: temperature, pressure, fluid in contact, wear, chemical compatibility, applicable standards and expected service life. See here which materials an O-ring can be made of.
We can also supply O-rings in different hardnesses, from very soft silicones to high-hardness compounds for demanding applications. In addition to the usual black colour, we offer seals in special colours such as green, blue, red, white, brown, beige, yellow, gold or turquoise, making it easier to visually identify the material, the application sector or the type of fluid.

O-rings for the food, pharmaceutical and detectable-application sectors
For applications in contact with food, beverages or pharmaceutical products, OSN offers food-grade compounds in NBR, HNBR, EPDM, silicone, FKM, polyurethane, PTFE, UHMWPE and acetal, adapted to the usual requirements of these types of industries.
We also offer materials detectable by metal detectors and X-rays, especially suited to food production lines where safety and traceability are essential. These materials are available in detectable NBR, detectable HNBR, detectable EPDM, detectable VMQ and detectable FKM, usually in blue to make them easier to identify visually within the process.
FEP/PFA encapsulated O-rings
Our range also includes encapsulated O-rings, a solution especially suited to applications where a conventional elastomer seal does not offer enough chemical resistance, or where greater cleanliness, low friction and compatibility with aggressive fluids are required.
These seals combine an inner elastic core, usually of silicone, FKM/Viton® and occasionally EPDM, with an outer jacket of FEP or PFA. This provides the elasticity needed to ensure the seal and, at the same time, the chemical resistance typical of fluoropolymers. They are common in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, petrochemical, laboratory, process-equipment, valve, pump and system sectors where corrosive products, solvents, acids, steam or high-purity fluids are handled.
Encapsulated O-rings can be a very interesting alternative when greater chemical resistance is needed than that offered by NBR, EPDM, FKM or other elastomers, but a higher elastic recovery capacity than a solid PTFE seal is still wanted.
Vulcanised-joint O-rings
For special diameters, large sizes or urgent needs, OSN can supply O-rings made from extruded cord (O-ring cord) with a vulcanised joint. This system makes it possible to manufacture off-standard O-rings without the need for a specific mould, reducing lead times and offering an effective solution for maintenance, repair or made-to-drawing manufacturing.
The joint can be made by hot vulcanisation or by adhesive, depending on the material, the diameter, the cross-section, the application and the customer’s sealing or aesthetic requirements. Hot vulcanisation offers a joint more integrated into the material itself, while an adhesive joint can be a quick, practical solution for certain static applications or urgent needs.
These seals can be manufactured in materials such as NBR, HNBR, EPDM, silicone, FKM, FVMQ, CR, polyurethane and other compounds, covering everything from general industrial applications to the food, chemical, gas or high-temperature sectors.
Solutions for demanding applications
In addition to standard seals, OSN offers solutions for sectors with special technical requirements, such as the gas, petrochemical, energy, ATEX, drinking-water, chemical-process industries or applications with a risk of explosive decompression. For these cases we can study materials such as low-temperature FKM, FKM GF, FKM AED/RGD, HNBR, FFKM, FEPM/AFLAS®, filled PTFE, PEEK or PPS, among others.
Correct material selection is key to ensuring the seal, preventing premature failures and ensuring compatibility with the fluid, the temperature and the working conditions. That is why, at OSN, we help define the most suitable seal for each application, whether it is a standardised reference, a special size, a food-grade seal, a detectable seal, a FEP/PFA encapsulated seal or a large-diameter seal with a vulcanised joint.
A solution for every need
The combination of thousands of possible sizes, dozens of material families, different hardnesses, colours, certifications and manufacturing systems makes the O-ring one of the most versatile sealing solutions on the market. At OSN we work to offer the most suitable solution in each case: standard O-rings, custom manufacturing, special materials, encapsulated seals, vulcanised seals and urgent solutions for industrial maintenance. Because when it comes to sealing, at OSN anything is possible with O-rings.
