Description

UOR9 is an asymmetric single-acting piston seal designed for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, offering high sealing performance and easy installation.

Assembly

Install manually using tools without sharp edges, lubricate with system oil and periodically check wear, leakage and groove condition.

Materials

The UOR9 profile is usually manufactured in NBR of 85 to 90 Shore A, although it can also be produced in other elastomers such as EPDM, VMQ or FKM on request, subject to review of the application requirements.

It shows the critical dimensions linked to the specification tables, such as the inside diameter (Ød), the outside diameter (ØD) and the width of the seal profile (b), together with the width of the housing groove (B) and the groove bottom diameter (Ød1). Complying with these dimensions ensures accurate positioning, installation without deforming the lips and optimum static and dynamic sealing performance in light and medium-duty hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, with pressures up to 12 MPa.
