OSN symmetrical seals for piston and/or rod are designed to provide a versatile, efficient and reliable sealing solution in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Thanks to their symmetrical geometry, the same profile can be used as both a piston seal and a rod seal, simplifying spare parts management and reducing maintenance costs.
This family includes solutions for single- and double-acting applications, from conventional industrial equipment to heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders. The different profiles available offer excellent dynamic sealing, low friction, high tear resistance and a long service life, even under demanding conditions of pressure, speed, temperature and contamination.
The OSN symmetrical seal range is available in a wide variety of materials to suit real service conditions. Polyurethane (PU) stands out for its high resistance to abrasion, extrusion and wear, making it one of the most widely used options in dynamic hydraulics. NBR offers excellent compatibility with mineral oils and conventional hydraulic fluids, combining strong performance with an excellent cost-performance ratio. For more demanding applications, HNBR, FKM and PTFE are also available, materials that provide greater thermal, chemical and mechanical resistance. There are also versions reinforced with technical fabric, as well as special solutions in EPDM, VMQ, XNBR, POM, TPE, UHMWPE, PEEK and other compounds on request.
