SEAL TA

The TA profile is a radial shaft seal consisting of a single outer metal cage with an additional inner cage that provides greater structural rigidity, a primary sealing lip with an integrated spring, and an additional dust lip.

CHARACTERISTICS
  • Good radial stiffness, particularly suitable for large diameters
  • High installation stability to prevent seal displacement or push-out
  • Economical option for applications involving high-cost elastomers
  • Modern primary sealing lip with low radial forces
  • Suitable for use in combination with axial seals (V-ring, RE)
  • Reinforced with an inner metal case for increased structural stiffness
  • Auxiliary dust lip designed to block airborne contamination

See our Installation guide for oil seals to perform a correct installation of the seal.

TOLERANCE FOR THE INNER DIAMETER OF THE SEAL

The inner diameter of the sealing lip is always smaller than the shaft diameter. Depending on the shaft size, the sealing lip diameter is generally between 0.8 and 3.5 mm smaller than the shaft diameter.
