The DC profile is a double-spring seal composed of a single metal case with a rubber coating and two sealing lips with springs. This design is specifically intended for the separation of two media or for applications involving extreme accumulation of external contaminants on rotating shafts.

The inner diameter of the sealing lip is always smaller than the shaft diameter. Depending on the shaft size, the sealing lip diameter is generally between 0.8 and 3.5 mm smaller than the shaft diameter.
