Description

Lock washer for bolted joints that use the wedge effect between two serrated washers to lock the screw. They guarantee the integrity of the joint even under vibrations or dynamic loads, preventing spontaneous loosening.

Assembly

The two pieces should be placed as a unit, with the teeth facing each other. The assembly is located between the screw head and the support surface, or between the nut and the surface. The screw or nut is tightened to the recommended torque. They should not be reused if they are deformed or damaged. It is essential to verify that both parts are correctly aligned before assembly.

Materials

They are made of hardened steel and stainless steel, with anti-corrosion coating options such as zinc-nickel or flake zinc. Versions for high temperatures and aggressive environments are available, as well as variants with extended outer diameter (Sp) for special applications.
