Description

The UZ is a pneumatic rod seal with a compact design, intended for the rods of pneumatic cylinders and also for pneumatic valves. Thanks to its compact profile, it fits rods with reduced dimensions and short strokes, providing reliable sealing in compressed-air applications.

Assembly

UZ rod seals are fitted into the groove of the housing. Remove the sharp edges of the rod and the housing so as not to damage the seal, and clean the installation space carefully before fitting. In operation with lubricated air, ensure adequate lubrication to extend the seal service life.

Materials

Available in different compounds depending on the medium and the working temperature: NBR, EPDM, FKM, FFKM, NR, CR and VMQ in hardnesses between 70 and 90 Shore A, and PTFE in a hardness of 60 Shore D. Suitable for dry and lubricated compressed air, with specific compounds for high-temperature applications and for excellent resistance to different media.
