Washer DIN 6798J

Description

Safety washer with inner teeth in accordance with DIN 6798 J, designed to increase friction between joined surfaces and prevent loosening of screws or nuts due to vibrations. Its radial teeth ensure firm anchorage and even pressure distribution.

Assembly

The assembly is carried out by placing the DIN 6798 J lock washer between the screw or nut head and the support surface, ensuring that the teeth are oriented towards the fixed workpiece. When the tightening torque is applied, the teeth are embedded in both surfaces, ensuring a firm and vibration-resistant anchorage.

Materials

Made of carbon steel, stainless steel, copper or brass, with surface finishes such as zinc plated, galvanized, bichromated, nickel plated or blued, selected according to the level of anticorrosive protection, electrical conductivity or aesthetic appearance required by the application.
