Rod seal HBI

Description

The HBI is a single-acting rod seal designed to prevent external leakage of hydraulic fluid in hydraulic cylinders. Its design combines a main sealing ring with an O-Ring acting as a energizing element, ensuring permanent contact with the rod surface and the housing even at low pressures.

Assembly

Lubricate the seal and the mating surfaces. Avoid burrs and sharp edges. Fit without twisting or pinching. Check correct seating before commissioning.

Materials

Polyurethane (PU) body, CO type, 92 to 95 Shore A, with high wear and abrasion resistance, and NBR 70 Shore A preload O-Ring. Good performance with mineral oils and greases. For water-based or fire-resistant fluids (HFA, HFB, HFC), please confirm the material.
